A collection of work from my prior experience with UPK students and my time as a student teacher for 9th graders.
I did a musical abstraction painting activity with my UPK students. We would paint a certain shape in any color of tempera paint while listening to one minute segments of songs from a playlist for each shape. After a minute passes, everyone at the table would move one seat over so that we all had a chance to work all sides of the paper.

I showed two of my UPK students how to create a monoprint with paint and aluminum foil.
They then created their own monoprints with tempera paint and I assisted them with pulling the foil off of their paper.

They were then given paper to create their food prints on it with tempera paint.
I explained to two of my UPK students how to make prints with the cut up fruits and vegetables.
